Ploski
Ploski [ˈplɔski] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Bielsk Podlaski, within Bielsk County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland. It lies approximately 14 kilometres (9 mi) north of Bielsk Podlaski and 27 km (17 mi) south of the regional capital Białystok. EtymologyThe name of the village comes from "plosa" which means "Gulf".[1] HistoryThe village was established in sixteenth century.
