Petrophila schaefferalis
Petrophila schaefferalis is a moth in the family Crambidae. It was described by Harrison Gray Dyar Jr. in 1906. It is found in Mexico (Xalapa)[1] and the southern United States, where it has been recorded from Arizona, California and Texas.[2] The wingspan is 17–20 mm for males and 24–29 mm for females. Adults have been recorded on wing from April to September. The larvae are aquatic.[3] References
