Peoples Township, Boone County, Iowa
Peoples Township is one of seventeen townships in Boone County, Iowa, United States. As of the 2000 census, its population was 346. HistoryPeoples Township was established in 1871.[3] It was named for David Peoples, an early settler.[4] GeographyPeoples Township covers an area of 36.12 square miles (93.6 km2) and contains no incorporated settlements. According to the USGS, it contains two cemeteries: Peoples and Peoples. References
