Ovčjak
Ovčjak (pronounced [ɔu̯ˈtʃaːk]; German: Schäflein[2][3]) is a remote abandoned settlement in the Municipality of Črnomelj in the White Carniola area of southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Southeast Slovenia Statistical Region.[4] Its territory is now part of the village of Rožič Vrh.[5] HistoryOvčjak was a Gottschee German village that was settled in the 17th century.[5] Before the Second World War it had 10 houses.
