Orhan Awatramani, commonly known as Orry, is an American internet personality and fashion stylist of Indian descent.[1][2] Awatramani gained prominence as a guest contestant on the reality television show Bigg Boss 17.[3][4][5][6] He is also known for his involvement in Bollywood related events and his interactions with notable figures in the Indian film industry, earning the tag of “Bollywood’s BFF”.[7][8][9]
Early life and education
Awatramani was born on August 2, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.[10] His family owns hotels, liquor, and real estate businesses.[11][12][13] Awatramani holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and Communication Design from New York's Parsons School of Design.[14][15]
Career
Beyond his online presence on Instagram, Awatramani has appeared as a guest contestant in Bigg Boss 17 in 2023, featuring in Days 41–43.[16][17]
In 2024, Awatramani collaborated with filmmaker Karan Johar for Crocs' new ad campaign celebrating unfiltered self-expression.[18][19][20][21]
The campaign features Awatramani and Karan Johar's playful interactions, working together to build a "Crorry" - a perfect pair of Crocs for Awatramani.[22][23]
Political Affiliation
Awatramani supported Donald Trump in the 2024 United States elections. In November 2024, Awatramani revealed his support for Trump by posting a photo of himself with his ballot paper, accompanied by the caption, "We did it Donald, we did it".[24][25][26]

Awatramani was involved in a controversy with Ruchika Lohiya, a social media influencer, who accused him of not shaking hands with her at a beauty awards ceremony. Awatramani responded by citing concerns about germs and maintaining boundaries with strangers.[27][28]
Awatramani was involved in a controversy with Palak Tiwari, the daughter of Shweta Tiwari, when a screenshot of their WhatsApp chat was widely shared on social media platforms.
