Ondřej Kolář (footballer)
Ondřej Kolář (born 17 October 1994) is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Czech First League club Slavia Prague. Club careerKolář transferred to Slavia Prague in 2018 with a worth €1 million, making him the most expensive goalkeeper signing in Czech First League history.[1] On 26 July, he signed a new contract until June 2022.[2] On 29 August 2020, Kolář scored a last minute penalty in a 3–0 victory against Příbram.[3] During a Europa League match against Rangers on 18 March 2021, he was stretchered off with a fractured skull after a ducking into the boot of Kemar Roofe.[4][5] The incident resulted in UEFA giving Roofe a four-match ban and Kolář being forced to wear a head guard for the remainder of his career.[6] On 2 October 2022, Kolář kept a clean-sheet in a 3–0 league victory Slovan Liberec.[7] International careerOn 17 November 2019, Kolář debuted for the senior Czech Republic national team in a UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying match against Bulgaria.[8] He was not selected for the UEFA Euro 2020 due to a head injury.[9] Career statisticsClub
