From 2006 to mid 2012, the members of OK Kid were part of a band from the Gießen region called Jona:S. '
In April 2013, the now three man band released their first album titled "OK Kid" in Cologne, produced by Sven Ludwig and Robert Koch, under the label Four Music, a subsidiary of Sony Music.[3][4] In Spring of 2014, the band released their first EP, "Grundlos".
