The Noxubee County High School football and basketball teams compete in District 4A. Their mascot is the tiger. The football team won the 2009 and 2012 State Championships.[3] They repeated as champions in 2014 and 2015.[4]
The Noxubee High School Tigers girls basketball team won back-to-back state titles in 1993-94.[citation needed]
Demographics
As of the 2022-2023 school year, there were 416 students, 403 of whom were black, 7 of whom were Hispanic, 4 of whom were white, 1 of whom is Asian, and 1 of whom identifies as two or more races. Of these, all 416 were eligible for free lunch. 214 students were male, 202 were female.[1][5]
