Cincinnati Reds

The Cincinnati Reds selected Howard in the first round, 19th overall, of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft.[6] Howard signed and was assigned to the Dayton Dragons, where he spent his first professional season, posting a 2–1 record, 3.74 ERA, and a 1.16 WHIP in 33.2 innings.
