General elections are scheduled to be held in the Bahamas by 2026 to elect all 38 members of the House of Assembly. BackgroundIn the 2021 election, the Progressive Liberal Party of then opposition leader Philip Davis won a landslide victory against the incumbent Free National Movement led by then Prime Minister Hubert Minnis, securing 32 seats and 52.59% of the popular vote.
