The Netherlands national cricket team toured South Africa from January to February 1997 and played seven limited overs matches against teams representing various areas of South Africa. The touring Dutch team was captained by Tim de Leede.[1]
Note: during the isolation of South Africa from international cricket between 1970 and 1991, there were seven unofficial tours (italicised below) by various teams, collectively known as the South African rebel tours.
