Indian police officer
Nalin Prabhat (born 14 March 1968[1]) is an Indian Police Service (IPS) Officer of the 1992 batch of Andhra Pradesh cadre and he served as the Director General of the National Security Guard from 1 May 2024 till 15 August 2024.[2][3][4]Thereafter, he was transferred to AGMUT cadre to be appointed as Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police and took the charge on 1st October 2024.[5]
Early life and education
Nalin Prabhat was born in 1968 Thungri Villages of Manali.[6][7] He completed his graduated in B.A (Honours) and M.A from St. Stephen's College.[1]
