Monteavan (Armenian: Մոնթեավան), previously known as Shahumyani Trchnafabrika (Armenian: Շահումյանի թռչնաֆաբրիկա, lit. 'Shahumyan poultry factory'),[2] is a village in the Armavir Province of Armenia. The name Monteavan derives from the left-wing militant Monte Melkonian.[3]
