Mlynica
Mlynica (German: Mühlenbach, Hungarian: Malompatak) is a village and municipality in Poprad District in the Prešov Region of northern Slovakia. It lies on the foothills of High Tatras. GeographyThe municipality lies at an altitude of 688 metres and covers an area of 7.776 km². It has a population of about 380 people. HistoryIn historical records the village was first mentioned in 1268. It belonged to a German language island. The German population was expelled in 1945. Infrastructure and economyMain cultural sightseeings are romanesque Roman Catholic and classical evangelical church.
