Missouri Route 116
Route 116 is a highway in northwestern Missouri. Its eastern terminus is at Route A in Braymer; its western terminus is at U.S. Route 59 in Rushville. Route descriptionRoute 116 starts at its western terminus at U.S. Route 59 in Rushville and continues east. It then has a t-intersection with Supplemental Route HH and continues south. It then turns east again after an intersection with Supplemental Route M, before curving to the north. It then heads east again and then intersects with Missouri Route 371. There is then a bridge over Interstate 29, but it does not have any direct interchange with it. It intersects with Supplemental Route Y, and it heads south on a concurrency with it, and then heads to the east again to the north of Dearborn, Missouri. It then has an intersection with U.S. Route 169 and goes through the town of Plattsburg, Missouri. It then intersects with Missouri Route 33 and is concurrent with it until it reaches the town of Lathrop, Missouri. Route 116 then has an interchange with Interstate 35 and then has a roundabout with U.S. Route 69. It then heads east on a mostly straight path before reaching the town of Polo, Missouri. In Polo, it intersects with Missouri Route 13. It then heads to the north on Route 13, before heading to the east again. It then passes to the north of the town of Cowgill, Missouri, before coming to an end at Supplemental Route A in Braymer, Missouri HistoryRoute 116 from Plattsburg to U.S. Route 169 was originally part of Route 33 until that highway was re-routed in 1934.[2] Major intersections
