Mike Isom
Mike Isom (born c. 1948) is a former American football coach. He served as the head football coach at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA), located in Conway, Arkansas, from 1990 to 1999, compiling a record of 68–38–4 in ten seasons. Isom's teams won three consecutive Arkansas Intercollegiate Conference (AIC) titles from 1990 to 1992 and an NAIA Division I Football National Championship in 1991, the program's third national title in National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) competition. In 1993, Central Arkansas moved from the AIC of the NAIA to the Gulf South Conference at the NCAA Division II level. A native of Conway, Isom played football at Conway High School, and then at Central Arkansas.[1] Isom retired from coaching after the 1999 season.
