Mezőkövesd District
Mezőkövesd (Hungarian: Mezőkövesdi járás) is a district in south-western part of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County. Mezőkövesd is also the name of the town where the district seat is found. The district is located in the Northern Hungary Statistical Region. GeographyMezőkövesd District borders with Miskolc District to the northeast, Mezőcsát District to the east, Tiszafüred District (Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County) to the south, Füzesabony District and Eger District (Heves County) to the west.
