Manoj Sharma (voice actor)
Manoj Sharma is an Indian voice-over and dubbing artist who works predominantly in the Kannada cinema industry.[1] [2] He has lent voice to over 5000 voiceovers and 150 dubbings in Indian serials and movies.[2][3] He is the voice behind the Colors Kannada Cinema and Colors Super.[2] Early lifeManoj Sharma was born on to Lakshmi C S and Srinivas S R, in Bhadravathi, Karnataka belonging to a family of musicians.[4] He began learning music at the age of 3. He completed high school from Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Bangalore[5] He has been trained in classical music by Vidwan K R Venkatesh and Savithri Manjunath.[2] CareerManoj began his career by auditioning for a song by music composer Chandru Obaiah, which led to him singing the title track of the film Manoratha. He then worked as a dubbing artist in 'Kirik Party, The Villain. and "Jai Sriram" song in the film Roberrt, working alongside Shankar Mahadevan. This led him to work in over 150 Kannada films as a dubbing artist such as KGF – Chapter 1 and Dabangg 3.[4] While working as a dubbing artist he started working as a voice artist as well starting his career at the age of 21.[citation needed] Manoj has worked on over 5000 projects, including brand work for global companies. He is currently involved in dubbing for TV reality shows.[6] His portfolio focused on the recording of Interactive Voice Response Systems (IVRS) in 28 Indian languages.[3][7] References
