Malachi Singleton (born June 2, 2004) is an American college football quarterback for the Purdue Boilermakers. He previously played for the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Early life

Singleton attended North Cobb High School located in Kennesaw, Georgia.[1] Coming out of high school, Singleton was rated as a three star recruit, where he held offers from schools such as Arkansas, Cincinnati, Georgia, Georgia Southern, and UCF.[2] Ultimately, Singleton committed to play college football for the Arkansas Razorbacks.[3][4]

College career

Arkansas

During Singleton's first collegiate season in 2023, he used the season to redshirt and did not appear in any games.[5][6] In week six of the 2024 season, Singleton completed two of his three passes for 31 yards while also adding 15 yards and a touchdown on the ground, as he helped lead the Razorbacks on a game-winning drive upsetting the Tennessee Volunteers.[7] For his performance against the Tennessee Volunteers, Singleton was named the SEC freshman of the week.[8] In week ten, Singleton came into replace starter Taylen Green, where he completed 11 of his 14 pass attempts for 207 yards and a touchdown, while also adding 44 yards and a touchdown on the ground, but the Razorbacks would fall to the Ole Miss Rebels.[9]

Purdue

On December 19, 2024, Singleton transferred to the Purdue Boilermakers.[10]
