Mahmoud Al-Mardi
Mahmoud Nayef Ahmad Al-Mardi (Arabic: مَحمُود نَايِف أَحمَد الْمَرضِيّ) is a Jordanian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Jordanian Pro League club Al-Hussein and the Jordan national team. Club careerIttihad Al-ZarqaIn July 2013, Mahmoud started his professional career at Ittihad Al-Zarqa. Loan to Al-Sheikh HusseinOn 2 January 2014, Mahmoud was loaned out to Al-Sheikh Hussein until the end of the season. Ittihad Al-RamthaOn 29 May 2014, Mahmoud joined Ittihad Al-Ramtha. Al-Ahli (Amman)On 2 January 2015, Mahmoud moved to Al-Ahli Al-Arabi (Kuwait)On 11 September 2017. Mahmoud joined Kuwait giants, Al-Arabi playing in the Kuwait Premier League. Al-FaisalyAfter a short stint at Al-Arabi, he was then transferred to Jordan giants, Al-Faisaly on 23 December 2017. Mahmoud helped the club to win the cup double; the 2018–19 Jordanian Pro League and the 2018–19 Jordan FA Cup. Al-JazeeraOn 1 August 2018. Mahmoud joined Al-Jazeera. He scored his first goal for the club on 2 April 2019 against his former club, Al-Ahli in a 4–0 win. Oman ClubOn 24 January 2021, Mahmoud moved to Oman Elite League side, Oman Club. Al-SaltHis stint was cut short and on 15 April 2021, he moved back to his native country to joined Al-Salt. Al-MuharraqOn 23 August 2021, Mahmoud was transferred to Bahrain giants, Al-Muharraq where he was listed in the team 2021 AFC Cup squad. Mahmoud goes on to have a brilliant form throughout the cup where in the semi-finals, he scored a goal against Kuwait SC resulting in a 2–0 victory sending the club to the AFC Cup Final. During the final on 5 November 2021, Mahmoud break the deadlock early in the 2' minute against FC Nasaf where they would go on to carry the 2021 AFC Cup trophy. Mahmoud also won the 2021 Bahraini FA Cup during his time at the club. Kedah Darul AmanOn 19 June 2022, Mahmoud moved to Southeast Asia to signed for Malaysia Super League club, Kedah Darul Aman.[5] In his second match for the club, he scored a hat-trick against the Cambodian side, Visakha in 2022 AFC Cup group stage.[6] QadsiaAfter the 2022 Malaysia Super League concluded, Mahmoud moved to Kuwait club, Qadsia. Al-Hussein (Irbid)On 21 May 2023, Mahmoud moved back to Jordan to joined Al-Hussein. International careerMahmoud's first match with the Jordan national senior team was against Kyrgyzstan on 15 September 2015 during the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification, which resulted in a 0–0 draw. On 11 January 2018, he scored his first goal for his country in a friendly match against Finland. Mahmoud was called up to the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup in which he scored against Palestine in the 5–1 victory during the group stage fixtures.. Career statistics
