Species of moth
Loxostege typhonalis is a moth in the family Crambidae . It was described by William Barnes and James Halliday McDunnough in 1914.[ 2] It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Arizona and New Mexico .[ 3]
The wingspan is 18–20 mm. The forewings are ocherous brown. The hindwings are pale ocherous, but darker at the margins.[ 4] Adults are on wing from July to September.[ 5]
