Lobulia brongersmai
Lobulia brongersmai, also known as the Brongersma's lobulia, is a species of skink, a lizard in the family Scincidae. The species is endemic to the island of New Guinea.[1][2] HabitatThe preferred natural habitat of L. brongersmai is forest, at altitudes of 1,000–1,500 m (3,300–4,900 ft).[1] EtymologyThe specific name, brongersmai, is in honor of Dutch herpetologist Leo Brongersma.[3] DescriptionL. brongersmai may attain a snout-to-vent length (SVL) of 5.9 cm (2.3 in).[2] ReproductionThe mode of reproduction of L. brongersmai is unknown.[2] References
