^"All time AFC statistics". Aberdeen FC Heritage Trust. Retrieved 19 August 2019. Appearances and goals are taken from the statistics compiled by the Aberdeen FC Heritage Trust website. However, this site includes matches played and goals scored during season 1945–46 in the official league fixtures. This is incorrect, as the league competition that season was still an unofficial "wartime" competition. As such, these appearances and goals, and those of the five voided league matches from 1939–40, have been removed from the statistics listed here.
