Linthorpe is a rural locality in the Toowoomba Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2021 census, Linthorpe had a population of 416 people.[1] GeographyLinthorpe is on the Darling Downs.[3] The Gore Highway marks the southern boundary of Linthorpe. Toowoomba–Cecil Plains Road runs along the northern boundary, and the Oakey-Pittsworth Road runs along the north-western.[4] Linthorpe has the following mountains:
HistoryMotley Provisional School opened on 12 March 1900. In January 1901, it was renamed Linthorpe Provisional School. On 1 January 1909, it became Linthorpe State School.
