Les Panchyshyn is a Ukrainian artist,[1] photographer,[2] music video maker,[3][4] sculptor.[5] BiographyLes Panchyshyn was born on October 26, 1991, in the town of Novyi Rozdil, Lviv region. When he was 7 years old, the family moved to Lviv,[6] where he went to first grade. At the same time, he attended music school (violin). As a teenager, Les was looking for ways to express himself in different ways. He attended a folk dance class, was engaged in painting and sculpture. In 2000, he entered the Oleksa Novakivskyi Lviv Children's Art School. He was always fond of football and in 2003 he started playing for the ENERGY sports club. In 2006 he entered the Ivan Trush Lviv State College of Decorative and Applied Arts, majoring in artistic ceramics (headed by Taras Levkiv). In 2008, he finished playing professionally for SC ENERGY (mini-football). In his first year of study, he became interested in photography and in 2007-2008 began to participate in collective exhibitions of photographs, as well as organized personal ones. In 2009, he took part in and won a photo contest organized by Ukrsotsbank. In his third year, he took up painting seriously and transferred to the appropriate direction, and also began to study the basics of video filming and editing. In 2010, Les Panchyshyn won the painting competition "Lviv through the eyes of young people".[7] In 2011, after graduating from the Trush College, Les Panchyshyn entered the Lviv National Academy of Arts, where he continues to improve as an artist.[8] 2012-2015From 2012 to 2014, Les Panchyshyn was a member of SLAVA FROLOVA GROUP, one of the largest curatorial companies for young artists in Ukraine.[9] In 2012, Les Panchyshyn became interested in video art and started working on music videos for young Ukrainian artists. "That is Lviv" in 2017 and "Winter King" in 2018. In 2017, he curated two plein airs that took place at the Edem Resort & Spa. Also, afterwards, an exhibition was held in the Edem art space. There is a video of the first plein air on YouTube. Also this year, he is a member of the public organization "VILNI".[14] With which the "Art Cube" project was implemented. It was presented in several cities of Ukraine.[15] In 2020, Les Panchyshyn Gallery organized a plein air at the Grand Hotel Lviv. Artists from all over the country were invited. Upon completion, all the paintings were presented at Les Panchyshyn Gallery in Kyiv. 2021-20222021 Personal exhibition at the Ukrainian National Museum (Chicago).[16] 2021 collaboration with a Ukrainian brand that creates clothing collections. Overall.ua - overalls with a print of the painting were presented at Ukraine fashion week.[17] A collaboration with Kovtok drinking water was released.[18] 2021 Cooperation with DTEK.[19] A joint social project called "Lelechenki"[20] developed and created two sculptures that are installed in Kyiv (VDNH) and Odesa (Park of Glory). In 2021 he received the "Best new exhibitor"[21] at Miami Art week.[22] He took part in a charity tour organized by the Revived Soldiers Ukraine foundation.[23] More than 13 concerts were organized in different cities of the United States where the paintings were sold. The funds were used for the treatment and prosthetics of our military. 13 paintings were donated. Participated in a charity auction organized by the ARTSY Gallery (N.Y.) In 2022–2023, after the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, I began selling the paintings I had in stock. More than 20 paintings were sold and all the money was transferred to various charities (Come Back Alive, Prytula Foundation) in the first days about 150 thousand hryvnias were transferred. The auction was organized by the charity organization All hands and Heart. The painting titled New Hope was sold for $17,000. The funds were used to rebuild Ukrainian cities. This was done by the Save Ukraine center (Miami, USA). Participated in the exhibition "Hope for the lights" in Vienna, Austria. He made a joint project with Ivan Marchuk in the Barbareum art space (Vienna, Austria).
