Lanre Okunlola (born (1966-01-26) 26 January 1966 (age 58) is a Nigerian politician and a current House of Representatives member in the 10th National Assembly, representing Surulere II Federal Constituency since June 2023.[1][2] He is the deputy chairman of the House Committee on Aid, Loans, and Debt Management. Since assuming office as a member of the National Assembly, Lanre Okunlola has sponsored over 12 bills, co-sponsored several others, and introduced motions in the House of Representatives[3][4]

Early life and education

Lanre Okunlola was born on January 26, 1966 in Lagos, Nigeria, to Mr. and Mrs. Okunola. He completed his primary and secondary education in Lagos between 1970 and 1980.

In 1988, he obtained a bachelor's degree in architecture and subsequently earned a master's degree in the same field, further solidifying his academic and professional foundation in architecture.

Political career

Lanre is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and serves as a representative for Surulere Federal Constituency II in the 10th National Assembly of Nigeria. He was elected during the 2023 general elections, winning with 27,725 votes. Okunlola serves as deputy chairman of the House Committee on Aid, Loans, and Debt Management[5]
