Kydran Jenkins
Kydran Jenkins (born July 3, 2002) is an American college football defensive end and linebacker for the Purdue Boilermakers. Early lifeComing out of high school, Jenkins was rated as a three-star recruit and held offers from schools such as Missouri, South Florida, East Carolina, Purdue, Appalachian State, and Georgia Southern.[1] Ultimately, he committed to play college football for the Purdue Boilermakers.[2] College careerIn 2021, Jenkins tallied 35 tackles with eight being for a loss, five sacks, and a pass deflections. In the 2022 season, he recorded 32 tackles with eight being for a loss, four sacks, a pass deflection, and a forced fumble.[3][4][5] In week eight of the 2023 season, Jenkins recorded his first career collegiate touchdown off a fumble recovery versus Nebraska.[6] He finished the season with 57 tackles with 15.5 being for a loss, seven and a half sacks, a pass deflection, two fumble recoveries, a forced fumble, and a touchdown.[7][8] For his performance on the season, Jenkins was named a honorable mention all-Big Ten Conference selection.[9] References
