Kostas Pileas
Kostas Pileas (Greek: Κώστας Πηλέας; born 11 December 1998) is a Cypriot professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Pafos and the Cyprus national team.[1] Club careerHaving come through Arsenal's academy, Pileas returned to Cyprus in 2017, joining Anorthosis Famagusta. He spent the 2018–19 season on loan at Ermis Aradippou. He then returned to Anorthosis, with whom he would win the 2020–21 Cypriot Cup.[2] The following summer, he moved to Ethnikos Achna, and helped the team reach the final of the Cypriot Cup for the second time ever.[2] He played the full 120 minutes in the final, even hitting the post in extra time,[3] however Ethnikos went on to lose on penalties.[4] In June 2022, Pileas joined Aris Limassol.[2] He went on to win the 2022–23 Cypriot First Division with Aris.[5] International careerPileas made his debut for the Cyprus national team on 20 June 2023, in a 3–1 defeat to Norway in the Euro 2024 qualifiers.[6][7] Career statistics
