Rural District in Fars, Iran
Kaftarak Rural District (Persian : دهستان كفترك )[ 3] is in the Central District of Shiraz County , Fars province, Iran .[ 4] It is administered from the city of Shiraz . The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Nasrabad .[ 5]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 32,436 in 8,287 households.[ 6] There were 10,043 inhabitants in 2,815 households at the following census of 2011.[ 7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 14,485 in 4,438 households. The most populous of its 18 villages was Mah-e Firuzan , with 3,203 people.[ 2]
