Juan Maceiras (born June 17, 1984)[1] is a Spanish quarter-professional[1][2] low stakes[3][4][5][6] poker player, salesman,[1] and former semi-professional[7] football player.[1][8] FamilyJuan Maceiras' father is Juan Antonio Maceiras who is a live trainee and former online professional poker player, also known as Vietcong01,[9] a two time Sunday Million winner,[9][10] and the former mayor of Miño, A Coruña.[11] His sister May Maceiras is a semi-amateur poker player.[2] CareerMaceiras finished eighth in the World Championship of Texas Hold'em in 2024 for $1,125,000.[11][12][13][14] He finished 5th in the European Poker Tour Grand Final in 2011 for $467,532.[15][16] As of October 2024, his total live tournament winnings almost equals $3,000,000.[3] References
