Jolly Mutesi
Jolly Mutesi (born November 15, 1996) is a Rwandan model, a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Rwanda 2016, an entrepreneur, a girl child rights activist, and an advocate for women empowerment.[1][2][3] Early lifeJolly Mutesi was born in Kasase district, in the Republic of Uganda on 15 November 1996, the youngest of six children. She attended Pickhill Nursery School and Hima Primary School for her primary education in Uganda. She attended Kagarama secondary school for her ordinary-level secondary education and then King David Academy for her diploma degree in the combination of History, Economics and literature.[4] At age 20, Mutesi was crowned Miss Rwanda in 2016 and became the first beauty queen to represent Rwanda in Miss World beauty competition at the MGM National Harbor, Oxon Hill, Maryland, United States.[5][6] PageantryMiss Rwanda 2016 Mutesi was crowned as Miss Rwanda 2016. The runners-up were Peace Ndaruhutse Kwizera and Vanessa Mpogazi. Miss World 2016 Mutesi represented Rwanda in Miss World beauty competition at the MGM National Harbor, Oxon Hill, Maryland, United States. Awards
