Jaworzno, Opole Voivodeship
Jaworzno [jaˈvɔʐnɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Rudniki, within Olesno County, Opole Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) east of Rudniki, 24 km (15 mi) north-east of Olesno, and 65 km (40 mi) north-east of the regional capital Opole. HistoryIn 1827, the village had a population of 531.[2] 19 Polish citizens were murdered by Nazi Germany in the village during World War II.[3] References
