Ivana Chubbuck

Ivana Chubbuck is an American acting coach and creator of the Chubbuck technique. She heads a drama school in Los Angeles and hosts acting workshops worldwide.[1][2]

Chubbuck originally worked as an actress before becoming an acting coach.[3] Some of her notable clients include David Boreanaz,[4] Halle Berry,[5] Aubrey Plaza[6], Eva Mendes,[7] Sylvester Stallone[8], Judith Light[9], Brad Pitt[10], Sharon Stone,[5] Charlize Theron,[11] Pamela Anderson[12], Travis Fimmel[13], and Jon Voight.[5] She is the author of The Power of the Actor.[14][10] The book has been translated into 20 languages.[citation needed] A revised and updated edition of The Power of the Actor will be released in 2025.[15] [16]

Personal life

Chubbuck was married to Lyndon Chubbuck, director of War Bride and The Right Temptation, until his death in 2021. She has a daughter named Claire.[17]
