The population density was 29.70 inhabitants per square mile (11.47/km2). There were 643 housing units at an average density of 13.31 per square mile (5.14/km2). The racial makeup of the township was 96.10% White, 0.07% African American, 0.21% Native American, 0.35% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.49% from other races, and 2.79% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.63% of the population. There were 727 households, out of which 41.00% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 75.52% were married couples living together, 1.38% had a female householder with no spouse present, and 22.97% were non-families. 20.10% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.40% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.49 and the average family size was 2.88. The township's age distribution consisted of 25.2% under the age of 18, 6.1% from 18 to 24, 27.3% from 25 to 44, 27.5% from 45 to 64, and 13.9% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38.7 years. For every 100 females, there were 79.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.9 males. The median income for a household in the township was $67,159, and the median income for a family was $91,071. Males had a median income of $61,250 versus $31,500 for females. The per capita income for the township was $30,293. About 3.8% of families and 6.6% of the population were below the poverty line, including 2.9% of those under age 18 and 5.6% of those age 65 or over.
