The Four Houses by Architect Frederick Schock are Queen Anne and Shingle styles houses located at 5749 & 5804 West Race Avenue and 5804 & 5810 West Midway Park in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, United States. The houses were built between 1886 and 1892 by Frederick R. Schock. They were designated Chicago Landmarks on January 20, 1999.[1] Beeson House and Coach HouseThe Beeson House at 5810 W. Midway Park was built for Fredrick Beeson, the president of the Chicago Veneer Company.[2] F.R. Schock HouseThe architect lived in this residence at 5804 W. Midway Park until 1931.[3] Marie Schock HouseThe Marie Shock house was built in 1888 for the architect's mother.[4] It is located at 5749 W.
