Florence Ajayi
Florence Kikelomo Ajayi[1] is a Nigerian footballer who plays as a defender.[2][3] CareerAjayi started her career in the Nigerian Championship for teams such as: Koko Queens, Rivers Angels, Jagede Babes & the Pelican Stars. Following her participation in the 1999 World Cup she signed for 1.FFC Niederkirchen among the German Bundesliga, where she then spent two (2) full seasons. She later returned to Nigeria, playing for teams such as the Police Machine, as well as the Bayelsa Queen. She did so until 2008 whereas she relocated to the Tianjin Teda within the Chinese Super League. By 2010, a decade later, she decided to return to the European leagues, successively furthering her career for Krka Novo Mesto in Slovenia, Pogoń Szczecin, in Poland, as well as Dínamo Guadalajara in the Spanish region, second tier.[4][5][6] InternationalAs a member of the Nigerian national team, Ajayi won a total of five (5) consecutive African Championships between the years of 1998 and 2006, then took part in the 1999 & 2003 World Cups[7], followed by the 2000[8] & 2008[9] Summer Olympics.
