Fero (rapper)
Khattab Shabani[1] (born Feronit Shabani, Albanian: [fɛɾɔˈnit ʃaˈbani]; 8 July 1997), known professionally as Fero, is a Kosovo-Albanian retired rapper, singer and songwriter.[2][3] As of August 2023, he has quit his musical career, condemned his own opus as "useless" and has devoted himself to Islam.[4] Life and careerFeronit Shabani was born on 8 July 1997 into an Albanian family in the city of Gjilan, then part of the FR Yugoslavia, present Kosovo.[2] In August 2019, he terminated his contract with On Records and relocated to Berlin, Germany, whereas he established his own music label.[5] The following months, he released four singles, including "Jom rrit" and "Habibi" both entering the music charts in Albania.[6][7] Shabani was in a relationship with Albanian model Arbenita Ismajli, whom he married in February 2021.[8][9] Together they have one daughter born on 24 April 2021, whom they named Nina.[10] In July 2023, Shabani was arrested after allegedly beating and threatening Ismajli.[11] Following the occurrences, Ismajli filed for divorce.[12] DiscographyAlbums
