Fateh is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action thriller film written and directed by Sonu Sood (in his directional debut) and produced by Shakti Sagar Productions, and Zee Studios and co-produced by Ajay Dhama.[1][2][3] The film stars Sonu Sood, alongside Jacqueline Fernandez, Vijay Raaz, Naseeruddin Shah and Dibyendu Bhattacharya.[4][5]

Fateh is set to be theatrically released on 10 January 2025.[6]

Synopsis

Fateh, an ex-special ops officer with a dark past, lives a very peaceful life in Punjab until a village girl falls prey to a dangerous cybercrime syndicate. Joining forces with Khushi, an ethical hacker, Fateh uses their combined skills to expose a nationwide web of deceit and fight for justice.

Development

The film was announced by Zee Studios in December 2021.[8] Later, Sonu Sood revealed during an event in October 2022[9] that he is making a film titled Fateh in which he will mark his writing and directorial debut.[10]

Filming

The shooting of the film began in March 2023 in Punjab[11] and was wrapped-up in October 2023.[12]

The music of the film is composed by Yo Yo Honey Singh, Shabbir Ahmed, Haroon–Gavin, Vivek Hariharan, Rony Ajnali and Gill Machhrai while the background score is composed by John Stewart Eduri.

The first single titled "Fateh Kar Fateh" was released on 12 December 2024.[13] The second single titled "Hitman" was released on 17 December 2024.[14] The third single titled "Ruaa Ruaa" was released on 26 December 2024.

Marketing

In early December 2024, Sonu Sood and co-star Jacqueline Fernandez visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain to seek blessings for their film.[15][16]
