Eutropis austini is a species of skink, a lizard in the family Scincidae. The species is endemic to Sri Lanka.[2] EtymologyThe specific name, austini, is in honor of American herpetologist Christopher C. Austin.[2] HabitatThe preferred natural habitat of E. austini is forest, at altitudes of 450–1,100 m (1,480–3,610 ft).[1] DescriptionE. austini may attain a snout-to-vent length (SVL) of 7.5 cm (3.0 in). Dorsally, it is bronze brown.[2] ReproductionThe mode of reproduction of E. austini is unknown.[2] References
