At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 276 in 69 households.[2]
After the census, the village of Esku Mahalleh merged with the villages of Espand and Kasemdeh to become the village of Emamzadeh Abdollah,[4] which was elevated to the status of a city after the following 2011 census.[5]
