Donny Crown
Ishola Abdul Rasaq Adedoyin (born 30 April 1993), professionally known as Donny Crown, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and music executive. He rose to prominence with the release of the song "Money for Hand" featuring the late Nigerian singer and rapper Mohbad.[1][2] In January 2024, he released the follow-up single to "Money for Hand" titled "Grace" featuring Nigerian singer and songwriter BadboyTimz.[3] Early life and educationDonny Crown hails from Lagelu local government area local government area in Ibadan, Oyo State. Donny Crown attended Fountain International High School where he completed his secondary school education and later gained admission to study at the prestigious Adekunle Ajasin University where he graduated with a degree in Applied Mathematics.[4] CareerDonny Crown started his musical career in 2012, releasing freestyles and demos. In 2022, Donny Crown released the single "feeling good" with "M.E.D.E”.[5] In 2023, he launched M.E.D.E,[6] a creative agency catering to groom emerging acts[7] In September 2023, Donny Crown released the song "Money for Hand" featuring Mohbad. The song was posthumously released a few weeks before Mohbad's tragic passing Death of MohBad in September 2023, he further donated the royalties from the streams to MohBad's son as a demonstration of act of kindness.[8] In January 2024, Donny Crown released "Grace" featuring Nigerian singer and songwriter Bad Boy Timz.
