Day school

A day school — as opposed to a boarding school — is an educational institution where children[1] are given instruction during the day, after which the students return to their homes. A day school has full-day programs when compared to a regular school which may end early and require additional after-school programs for students with working parents. It also generally offers supervised lunches, which is required for working parents in locations where children are expected to return home at noon to eat with their families.
