Dalea pinnata
Dalea pinnata is a flowering plant mostly growing in Florida.[1] It's also found in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.[2] A member of the pea family, it is commonly called the summer farewell.[citation needed] It grows in sandhill, flatwoods and scrub habitats and blooms in late summer, attracting various pollinators.[3] A short-lived perennial, Dalea pinnata buds are reddish and flowers pinkish-white or lavender-white. It is a larval host for Zerene cesonia.[4] References
