County Route 108 (Rockland County, New York)

Route Description

Rockland County Route 108 begins at an intersection with CR 106 in Stony Point. From there it heads northeast, intersecting with CR 112 and CR 65 before continuing east paralleling Cedar Pond Brook to its north. After intersecting with CR 47, it passes Gilmore-Sloan House, Penguin Rep Theater, and First Methodist Church. Then it intersects US 9W and passes Rose Memorial Library and Stony Point Town Hall. It continues east down towards the Hudson River and enters Grassy Point. It continues as Grassy Point Rd/Beach Rd and enters the town of Haverstraw. It heads west and ends at the T-intersection with Tanneyanns Lane and CR 94 continues on its path.

The portion of CR 108 in Stony Point was part of the first east-west road through the Hudson Highlands. Starting at present day 9W the first road followed the remainder of CR 108 west and continued on CR 106 eventually connecting to Central Valley.
