Congosto de Valdavia
Congosto de Valdavia is a municipality located in the province of Palencia, Castile and León, Spain. According to the 2004 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 239 inhabitants. HistoryOne hamlet of this municipality whose name is Cornoncillo, has been related by several people with the military campaign of Augustus against the Cantabri.[3] Another hamlet of the municipality, Villanueva de Abajo, had its origin in a repopulation of the 10th century.
