Chauhan (surname)

Chauhan is a surname[1][2][3] of various Indian communities.

It is found among the Rajput,[4][5] Bhil,[6] Dhobi,[7] Lonia,[8] Orh Ror, Pateliya[9] caste groups found in the Indian states of Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand and Bihar.[10]
