Chahriq-e Olya (Persian : چهريق عليا )[ a] is a village in, and the capital of, Chahriq Rural District [ 4] of Kuhsar District of Salmas County , West Azerbaijan province, Iran .
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 680 in 137 households.[ 5] The following census in 2011 counted 783 people in 179 households.[ 6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 831 people in 202 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[ 2]
