Carle Place Middle/High School is a six-year comprehensive public high school located in the hamlet of Carle Place in the Town of North Hempstead , Nassau County , New York .
As of the 2016–17 school year, the school had an enrollment of 652 students and 71.05 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 9.18:1. There were 107 students (16.4% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 16 (2.5% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.[ 1]
