Species of bacterium
Carboxydothermus pertinax is a thermophilic and anaerobic bacterium from the genus Carboxydothermus which has been isolated from a hot spring on the Kyushu Island in Japan .[ 1] [ 3] [ 4] [ 5] [ 6]
