Cantuaria secunda
Cantuaria secunda is a species of trapdoor spider endemic to New Zealand.[1] TaxonomyThis species was described in 1968 by Ray Forster from a single female specimen collected in Nelson. The holotype is stored in Otago Museum.[1] DescriptionThe female is recorded at 26.9mm in length. The carapace and legs are dark reddish brown. The abdomen is brown.[1] DistributionThis species is only known from Nelson, New Zealand.[1] Conservation statusUnder the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as Data Deficient with the qualifiers of "Data Poor: Size", "Data Poor: Trend" and "One Location".[2] References
